Pastor, Elder - Luke Ahrens
My heart for our new church is to see it become a place where individuals encounter the Living God each week through the unapologetic preaching and study of His Word, Christ-exalting worship, fervent prayer, and bold presentation of the Gospel. I am fired up about seeing believers grow in their faith and share it with others as they discover and serve with their God-given gifts and abilities. Elder - Kent Shaw
Kent and his wife, Nancy, have attended Harvest in Rolling Meadows, Illinois since 1997. In addition to his role as the Executive Director of Harvest Bible Fellowship, Kent also serves as an Elder of Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows, oversees Missions, Compassion, and Churches Helping Churches and Elder of Harvest Bible Chapel Columbus.
Kent has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Biological Sciences and more than 20 years of executive experience in the marketplace in the healthcare sector, prior to coming on staff at Harvest.
Kent and Nancy are blessed with three wonderful children—David (married to Julia), Hannah, and Abigail.
Elder - Rick Donald
Rick joined the Harvest Bible Chapel, Illinois staff in 1989 and currently serves as Assistant Senior Pastor and is also involved with the Harvest Bible Fellowship. His passion is to see people grow in their desire to know and reflect Jesus in their life.
He grew up in Canada and graduated from London Baptist Bible College in Ontario with a Bachelor of Theology. He also holds a Masters of Ministry degree from Moody Bible Institute.
He and his wife Lyn were married in 1982 and have two children- a married daughter Shauna and son Jordan, a student at Moody Bible Institute. The Lord has blessed Rick and Lyn with a special son-in-law Peter and two beautiful granddaughters, Madison and Aubrey.
